The operating characteristics of 3LBCSVM inverter fed induction motor drive during starting, step speed, and step load are tested and compared its performance with the 2LBCSVM. The torque and flux distortion of the IM for 3LBCSVM are less with less current and voltage total harmonic distortion (THD).
