Study of Input Signal Waveforms for Precise Analog Counter
This paper introduces an improvement of precise analog counter for high-speed reinforcement learning by devising input waveform. The analog counter is a circuit that changes an output voltage according to the number of input pulses. In this circuit, as the output voltage goes up and down, the output per input waveform changes. In this paper, the output change per input waveform was compared between the case where a square wave with a period of 400 ps was input directly to an analog counter and the case where a spike signal was input, and it was found that the characteristics were improved when the spike signal was input.
