It was established that the magnitude of the external magnetic field measured by the Hall sensor is sensitive to the technical condition of the generator. By analyzing the distribution of the axial component of the external magnetic field, the optimal point on the surface of the generator is selected, which ensures the uniqueness of the diagnostic parameter. An algorithm for recognizing electrical faults based on the magnitude of an external magnetic field is developed.
