A study of WSN synchronization based on OFDM anti-interference model
This paper presents a carrier synchronization algorithm based on the OFDM anti-interference model for wireless sensor networks (WSNs). It solves the time delay issue present in the data collection process of a WSN, making the entire WSN synchronous and thus resulting in improved timing accuracy. This study applies the OFDM technology to the transmission in the physical layer of a WSN. Sequential matches of system operations are performed for various parts of the system through five synchronization modules in order to achieve input data compensation. This effectively corrects the carrier frequency deviations of the system and subsequently improves the anti-interference capability of the system. Finally, the algorithm is proved to be feasible by experiments on a test platform.
