Yoon","doi":"10.33615/jkohs.2022.10.3.51","DOIUrl":null,"url":null,"abstract":"Objectives: This study was conducted to understand the effect of dental hygienists' professional self-concept on the practice of dental hygiene, focusing on the mediating effect of empathy in the elderly. \nMethods: This study was conducted with from the dental hygienists' in some areas of Busan and Gyeongnam. \nResults: In the relationship between the dental hygienists' professional self-concept and the practice of dental hygiene for the elderly, the results of the empathy mediating effect of the elderly showed that it was completely mediated and meaningful. \nConclusions: Dental hygienists recognize the importance and necessity of empathy for the elderly. The Effect of Dental Hygienists' Professional Self-Concept on the Practice of Dental Hygiene in the Elderly: Focusing on the Mediating Effect of Empathy
Objectives: This study was conducted to understand the effect of dental hygienists' professional self-concept on the practice of dental hygiene, focusing on the mediating effect of empathy in the elderly.
Methods: This study was conducted with from the dental hygienists' in some areas of Busan and Gyeongnam.
