Diperlukan kesiapan dan tanggapan yang bersifat kritis seperti memperlengkapi tenaga kesehatan dan manajemen fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan dengan informasi, prosedur, dan alat yang penting agar pelayanan dapat berjalan aman dan efektif.Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penerapan manajemen keselamatan pasien selama Pandemi Covid-19 di Puskesmas Puuwatu tahun 2020.Metode: Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam. Adapun teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptifHasil: Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa enam langkah dari tujuh langkah menuju keselamatan pasien telah dilaksanakan seperti, bangun kesadaran akan nilai keselamatan, memimpin dan mendukung staf, mengintegrasikan pengelolaan risiko, melibatkan dan berkomunikasi dengan pasien, belajar dan berbagi pengalaman tentang keselamatan pasien dan cegah cedera melalui implementasi keselamatan pasien. Terdapat satu langkah yang belum optimal dilakukan oleh Puskesmas Puuwatu yaitu mengembangkan sistem pelaporan, pelaporan eksternal yang perlu dilakukan ke Komite Nasional Keselamatan Pasien belum dilakukan secara langsung. Melainkan masih dengan mengumpulkan data insiden lalu melaporkan dan berkordinasi dengan Dinas Kesehatan setempat.Kesimpulan: Pelaksanaan tujuh langkah menuju keselamatan pasien di Puskesmas Puuwatu telah berjalan dengan baik walaupun masih terdapat satu hambatan dalam pelaksanaannya. Puskesmas Puuwatu dalam pelayanannya tetap mengutamakan keselamatan pasien dengan mengikuti himbauan protokol Covid-19. AbstractBackground: Patient safety during the Covid-19 Pandemic is a concern, especially in first-rate health care facilities. Critical readiness and responses are needed, such as equipping health workers and health service facility management with information, procedures, and tools necessary for services to run safely and effectively.Objectives: The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of patient safety management during the Covid-19 Pandemic at Puuwatu Public Health Center in 2020.Methods:This research method uses qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collection was carried out by in-depth interviews. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis.Results:The results of this study indicate that six steps of the seven steps towards patient safety have been implemented such as, building awareness of the value of safety, leading and supporting staff, integrating risk management, engaging and communicating with patients, learning and sharing experiences about patient safety and preventing injuries through implementation. patient safety. There is one step that has not been optimally taken by Puskesmas Puuwatu, namely developing a reporting system, external reporting that needs to be done to the National Committee for Patient Safety has not been done directly.
