The aim of the paper was to identify the relationship between the perception of autonomy and satisfaction with life in people with acquired motor limitations, taking into account the moderating role of the age of experiencing permanent disability, its duration and the occurrence of secondary health complications. The data allowed to confirm the positive relationship between the perceived autonomy and satisfaction with life and confirmed the role of moderators.
