DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY OF A REGIONAL ECONOMIC UNIVERSITY OF RUSSIA IN THE CONDITIONS OF A POST-INDUSTRIAL SOCIETY (BY THE EXAMPLE OF THE URAL STATE ECONOMIC UNIVERSITY)

Analysis of the current state of higher education system in Russia is carried out. Basing on the analysis results recommendations are proposed for working out an effective strategy for regional economic university development in the realities of a changing society (case of the Ural State University of Economics is considered). It is shown that a prerequisite for the success of a regional university is thoughtful and active interaction with regional authorities, business, and social institutions to provide the development of the region.
