A total number of 150 mothers randomly selected from different unit of the University were used as research subjects. The subjects were exposed to Maternal Employment Questionnaire (MEQ) consisting of fifteen items. Three hypotheses were postulated. The data were analyzed using chi-square statistics. Results showed that breastfeeding, emotional development and the quality of the day care were significantly related to maternal employment.
