In this paper, the performance of PCSs is investigated using a physics based analytical model considering important parameters. Two basic structures (i.e., p-i-n and n-i-p) of PSC are considered for this work to find out the optimal design parameters. The changes of the short circuit current density, open circuit voltage, efficiency along with the J-V characteristics curves for both structures of PSCs are shown here as performance indicating parameters.
