THE MODERN STAGE IN DEVELOPMENT OF AGRIS, INTERNATIONAL INFORMATION SYSTEM ON AGRICULTURE AND FOOD

The history of AGRIS, the International System for Agricultural Science and Technology, is described shortly. Development trends for last five years, 2017–2022, are analyzed. There is search and implementation of new ways to replenish the system, preferably automated ones; focus not only on the record number increment, but also on content quality; creating effective corporate communication; expansion of public activity, expressed in the holding of annual conferences and several training events. As a result, the attendance as well as user number of the resource have significantly increased, therefore, relevant scientific information on agriculture has become much more available.
