A cidade fragmentada: articulações, coesões e sinergia entre agentes públicos e privados na reestruturação urbana em Pelotas-RS

A presente comunicação apresenta algumas reflexões decorrentes da pesquisa de doutoramento, em andamento, intitulada “A cidade como mercadoria: articulação entre o Estado e o capital imobiliário na reprodução do espaço urbano em Pelotas/RS”. Esta pesquisa versa sobre o processo de produção do espaço urbano em uma cidade média, localizada no extremo sul do Brasil, tendo como premissa a análise das estratégias e articulações estabelecidas entre o setor imobiliário e o Estado na produção do espaço urbano na última década, com vistas ao desvelamento dos impactos desta coalizão na reestruturação do espaço intra-urbano, verificando o aprofundamento dos padrões de dispersão, fragmentação e segregação socioespacial. This communication some reflections arising from the doctoral research in progress entitled "The city as merchandise: articulation between the state and the real estate capital in the reproduction of urban space in Pelotas/RS".This research addresses the production process of urban space in a medium city, located in the extreme south of Brazil, taking as its premise the analysis of strategies and joints established between the real estate and the state in the production of urban space, in the last decade unveiling the impacts of this coalition in the restructuring of intra-urban space , checking the depth of dispersion patterns , fragmentation and spatial segregation
