In this algorithm, a restraining updating strategy was applied to the low velocity MES while the high velocity MES will establish a location area visiting list and adjust its updating strategy adaptively based on its mobility pattern which is learned from the visiting list. The algorithm proposed can remarkably reduce the average signaling load on location management. 摘要

与地面蜂窝系统不同,GEO移动卫星系统具有波束(小区)极大、传播延迟长、资源限制严格、移动地球站速度多样性等特点。为此,提出了一种低复杂度的位置管理算法——移动模式自适应(MPA)算法。在该算法中,低速MES采用约束更新策略,高速MES建立位置区域访问列表,并根据从访问列表中学习到的移动模式自适应调整更新策略。该算法能显著降低定位管理的平均信令负荷。此外,该算法对不同CMR值的MES具有良好的适应性。
