Dispersion relation of SH waves is calculated by employing the Legendre polynomial series. The influence of phonon-phason coupling, inhomogeneity and geometric parameters on dispersion curves is analyzed. Results show that the angular frequency of phonon mode increases, and that of phason mode decreases as phonon-phason coupling constants Ri increase.
