The Stability of High-Precision Navigation Equipment to Spoofing
Today, spoofing is a real threat, because it can mislead navigation equipment. Recently, high-precision navigation receivers based on precise point position (PPP) and real time kinematic (RTK) algorithms have been widely used. This paper will compare the spoofing immunity of the high-precision PPP algorithm and the standard position estimation algorithm. The PPP algorithm has a good spoofing immunity due to the use of high-precision satellite ephemerides and satellite clocks, compared to the standard positioning algorithm, which receives information about satellite ephemerides and clocks with a broadcast navigation message. If the jammer puts false information about satellites in the signals, according to which the calculated coordinates of the satellites differ very much from the true ones, then there is reason to believe that when using high-precision ephemeris-time information (for example, from the International GNSS Service (IGS) station network), the navigation solution will be blocked, which will protect the receiver from issuing a false navigation solution.
