Creation of the St. Luka's museum in Pereslavl-Zalesskiy as a factor in the development of the cultural heritage of the city and the introduction of education programs for young people

The St. Luke's Center of the Theodorovsky Monastery of Pereslavl, organized on the basis of the former Pereslavl Zemsky Hospital, becomes the focus of the social, social and cultural life of the city. It is planned to develop it in several different directions.The versatility of the personality of St. Luke Voino-Yasenetsky opens up many opportunities to create a center of attraction for the interests of the youth audience in the city and beyond its chapels. The main mission of the Center is to continue the good deeds that St. Luke did during his earthly life: medical care and care for the disadvantaged, raising children in Orthodoxy and service to the Fatherland, preaching Christ and pastoral care of spiritual children. In 2021, a traveling exhibition dedicated to the biography of the great saint and scientist was organized within the framework of the Mission-Doctor project and a tour of the play "The Victories of St. Luke", in which disabled children and members of their families participated.
