Methods and techniques of software testing are analyzed. Problems of quality and reliability of software testing are described. The article defines the problems of organizing the activities of software testers. The need for a more complete and comprehensive analysis of the so-called \"human factor\", as well as the achievements of ergonomics and engineering psychology, is proved. The necessity of searching for ergonomic reserves of software testing efficiency is determined. The principles of construction and structure of decision support system for testing management, taking into account human factor problems, are defined. A method for modeling and forecasting reliability of software testers' activity has been proposed. The application of the functional networks method for describing and evaluating the activities of software testers is described. Decision support software for managing the testing of complex computer programs has been developed. The approach to analysis of working conditions of software testers is described. Examples of analysis of ergonomic software testing problems are given.
