Process excellence in IT sector in an emerging economic scenario

For Last few years Six Sigma is gaining popularity in developing countries and has started penetrating service sector. Implementation evidences are rare in such scenarios. Past research reveals that only 9% of cases are related to service sectors. Contribution from emerging economies (EE) is even lesser. Scarcity of case studies on application of its framework and tools makes it difficult to adopt Six Sigma in services arena of EE. Novelty of the current work is to provide an implementation case study in software development services sector, as per requisites of an EE.
