Importance and usage of electronic information resources at the library of Kotelawala Defence University, Sri Lanka

At present, developing and managing a collection of e-resources is an essential responsibility of any university library in Sri Lanka, especially in order to go in parallel with their counterparts in developed world. However, these electronic resources are expensive and inevitable at the same time. This paper sheds light on the importance and utilization of e-resources, and discusses about the current situation in a university library in Sri Lanka.
