Education in Russia by the End of the XIX Century: Historical Experience and Modernity

The chapter of the monograph examines education in Russia. It is confirmed that the Russian education system was formed, developed and modified depending on the socio-economic, ideological-political, cultural-historical and other processes taking place in the country and the world, but at the same time it has always maintained its identity, fundamental nature and national orientation. For this reason, the Russian education system is in many ways unique.
