In this method, a tissue is modeled by some blocks at first in which each block has a uniform conductivity. Then, a medical image is created by calculation of these conductivities. Recently a noniterative linear inverse solution is introduced for BM which we call it 2D BM. In this paper, an efficient algorithm called 2D expanded block method (2D EBM) is suggested by a new formulation to improve 2D BM. To examine 2D EBM and 2D BM, several examples have been studied.
