Several currently existing applications work with proprietary applications and IP cameras from the same manufacturer, however, in this article we demonstrate that management is more efficient through our unique system that allows generating remote alerts through SMS messages and notifications by electronic mail after the activation of a sensor. Our article describes the existing problems in residential security systems, applied to the case of the City of Cuenca-Ecuador, as well as the technical development of the system in relation to server configuration, client equipment and an Android application developed in IONIC Framework.
