Determining the effect of sidelobe structure on angle of arrival measurements using monopulse techniques
The sidelobe structure of a transmitting antenna can cause errors of angle-of-arrival (AOA) measurements by a receiving antenna. This paper addresses the conditions necessary for these measurement errors to occur by examining sidelobe data for three antennas. In addition, a maximum limit on the possible AOA measurement errors is determined.
