Effectiveness of electronic interactive whiteboard use in developing the creative problem solving and learning motivation
The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the interactive whiteboard on the development of the creative problem solving and the total score of learning motivation and its dimensions (the value — the expectation — the test anxiety) in the second grade prep school students in Ismailia city in the Arab Republic of Egypt. The skills of creative problem solving and learning motivation scales was applied to a sample of (168) students from two preparatory schools in one area. Teaching in the first school (81 students) using the electronic interactive board, and in the second school (87 students) using traditional way, two groups equivalence in intelligence and previous achievement. Results showed: statistically significant differences between the students in the two groups in the creative problem solving, and in total score of learning motivation and its dimensions favor the students using the interactive whiteboard. The researcher recommended: use interactive whiteboard technology in all schools, and training teachers to employ them.
