The valve is reverse engineered, with modeling done in PTC Creo and the analysis in ANSYS Workbench. The results of the analysis show that the components under the maximum stress are the valve spring and the bleeder. Hence the work focuses on the spring and the bleeder. The loading conditions are obtained from CFD analysis [1] of the valve. The stresses generated in the valve spring are seen to be within the permissible limits for the spring material.
