Electronic puppet: Development of an assistive educational technology

This electronic puppet is an assistive educational technology designed especially for non-oralized children. The purpose of this is article is present a project of assistive educational technology named Electronic Puppet. In order to do this, we use the electronic puppet, that fits in the concept of internet of things, connecting himself to the multimedia system with images, sound, animations and included in educational methodology based on Vygotsky's approach, the historical-social and cultural theory. The functional and educational results shows that this portable children storytelling tool, mediated by the Electronic Puppet, is appropriate to help children with cerebral paralysis or other learning or cognitive issues.
