摘要

随着社会市场经济和科学技术的飞速发展,全球化已成为世界经济发展的必然趋势。英语已成为国际通用语言,英语教学已被纳入我国教学的各个阶段。在高职英语教学中,西方文化以英语为媒介对我国传统文化进行了猛烈的冲击,高职生在这种冲击中迷失了自我,对外国的盲目崇拜导致中国传统文化的缺失,从而影响了高职生树立正确的人生观和价值观。针对这些现象,中国的高职院校不能简单地引入英语教学,而是要将中国传统文化融入到英语教学中。通过英语课程学习中的冲突,让高职生充分了解中国传统文化中优秀的民族素质、民族精神、民族气节、民族礼仪、民族美德等,使高职生在充分了解两种文化的基础上提高交际能力。
