A structured questionnaire was used to collect information from students from four selected secondary schools in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria. The total population of respondents used for the study were 200 students from the selected secondary schools, comprising 98 males and 102 females. Pearson correlation and linear regression analysis were used to analyse the data. The study revealed the significant influence of domestic violence on the academic performance of secondary school students.
