The experiments are performed on two machines connected via crossover cable and each of the operating system to be tested is installed one at a time. Network performance metrics like throughput, latency, jitter, and one way delay are measured with D-ITG-2.8.0-rc1 tool. 摘要
本文在不同的Microsoft Windows (Windows 8、Windows 7、Windows XP和Windows Vista)客户端操作系统上对两个版本的Internet Protocol (IPv4和IPv6)进行了比较分析。实验在两台机器上进行,两台机器通过交叉电缆连接,每次安装一个待测试的操作系统。使用D-ITG-2.8.0-rc1工具测量吞吐量、延迟、抖动和单向延迟等网络性能指标。结果表明,在不同的操作系统下,IPv4/IPv6网络的性能是不同的。
