Լրատվամիջոցների դերը Հայաստանի և Իրանի հարաբերություններում

The article discusses the existing problems in the field of information in the relations between Armenia and Iran. The first part refers to the activities of state news agencies, electronic media, newspapers and social networks. The second part of the article presents the mechanisms for establishing mutually beneficial cooperation. The steps taken to prevent the spread of fake news are presented. The monitoring of Armenian and Iranian media content in the last decade shows, that the risk of spreading fake news increases with the increasing role of social media. So, the state media play an important role in increasing of public awareness and collect the views, information and attitudes toward certain issue. In any case, the most effective way to solve problems in the information sector are cooperation between the media and to increase the level of media literacy.
