To avoid problem caused by the harmonics producing power electronic devices, the Hybrid Power Filters System (HPFs) are presented. The analysis includes the basic principles of harmonic filter. Passive Power Filter (PPF) can be designed by the KMITL Program. Surplus harmonic can be removed by active power filter(APF). The major objectives in the study are to improve the power factor, to reduced current and voltage distortion and to reduce resonance problems at a system.
