Fortune's landmark book, Sexual Violence: The Unmentionable Sin, provided an occasion for several theologians, activists, and scholars (Andrea Smith, Traci West, Mary Hunt, Nantawan Lewis, and myself), to reflect on the importance of Fortune's scholarship, and offer their specific responses and critiques to the new work that is represented in the revised edition.
