These deficiencies cause unfairness in bandwidth utilization among contending sources. We suggest modifications in EPRCA and call it the modified enhanced proportional rate control algorithm (EPRCAM). We argue that EPRCAM will lead to better link utilization and fair bandwidth allocation between sources.
