Economy of Ukraine: Results and Development Problems

The economy of Ukraine is going through a challenging period of development. Over the last thirty years Ukraine’s economic capacity has been substantially reduced. The country has lost the ability to independently develop the economy and was forced to constantly seek the assistance of Western countries, which resulted in an increase of its external debt. The conflict in Donbass has a negative impact on Ukraine’s economy. Despite the economic difficulties, Ukraine is considering the transition to the green economy.
