These impediments range from difficulties in accessing these technologies due to low income, to issues related to low education and/or advanced age. However, it is believed that the benefits of the technologies are numerous. In this case, the access of the elderly to devices connected to the Internet and to online content in an equitable and affordable manner are seen as fundamental measures. Among the content available on the web, videos stand out and many people have dedicated themselves to producing this audiovisual content. The videos are present in the most diverse communication channels and also in the main social networks. Online video consumption in Brazil grew 135% from 2014 to 2018, according to a survey commissioned by Google. In the same period, the consumption of videos through TV grew 13%. As in previous years, the survey showed that the vast majority (75%) of respondents use their smartphone to watch online videos. YouTube figured as the second largest destination for consumption of this format. Thus, it is expected that it is possible to optimize the production of videos with people who are not yet used to and/or sensitized to this type of media, as is the case of many elderly people. The objective of this text, therefore, is to present the necessary information on the implementation of vlog workshops for the elderly. Initially, a literature search was conducted, through which information was extracted both from articles and from documents available in electronic media. The focus of this activity was to understand the video production process presented in the various guides/tutorials spread throughout the web, as well as the practice of amateur video production in education. After that, the parameters for the workshop were written. This comprises five stages: scripting, setting up the scenario(s), capturing the videos, editing and publishing. It is suggested that the guidelines be reviewed in weekly meetings lasting up to four hours. However, this time can be adjusted, taking into account the learning rhythms of the elderly and the contents to be worked on.
