Through critical reading of different tales, students were able to expand their linguistic repertoire and improve their writing activity. The genre chosen for the stories was terror / horror and, with each reading, there was a moment of discussion and recognition of narrative procedures. At the end of the readings, the students chose to go deeper into the work O Vilarejo, by Raphael Montes, in order to tell what happened before the events narrated in the book in question.
