Husna","doi":"10.38114/joeel.v3i2.225","DOIUrl":null,"url":null,"abstract":"This research aims to find out the student’s improvement in speaking skills after implementing podcast media in the teaching and learning process. The subject of the research was the tenth-grade students majoring in fashion 2 at SMK Negeri 8 Surabaya in academic 2021 / 2022. Which consisted of 33 students. The method used in this research was Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in 2 cycles. Each cycle follows four phases: planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. however, there are different treatment was given in the second cycle. There were two ways of collecting the data were obtained from observation sheet field notes and speaking tests. Based on the data showed significant improvement in their speaking performance after the second cycle was conducted. The target score (KKM) of SMK Negeri 8 Surabaya for English lessons is 70. The result of the research showed that in the pre-cycle only 7 students or 21% of students reached the minimum standard score. In cycle I, 14 students or 42% of students reached the minimum standard score, and in cycle II there were 30 students or 90% of students in X Fashion 2 that could pass the standard minimum score. 摘要
本研究旨在了解在教学过程中实施播客媒体后,学生口语能力的提高情况。该研究的对象是SMK Negeri 8 Surabaya大学2021 / 2022学年时装专业的十年级学生。共有33名学生。本研究采用的方法是课堂行动研究(CAR),分2个周期进行。每个循环包括四个阶段:计划、行动、观察和反思。然而,在第二个周期中给予不同的处理。收集数据的方法有两种:观察表、现场笔记和口语测试。根据数据显示,在进行了第二次循环后,他们的口语表现有了明显的提高。SMK Negeri 8 Surabaya英语课程的目标分数(KKM)为70分。研究结果表明,在预周期中,只有7名学生或21%的学生达到最低标准分数。在第一轮中,14名学生达到最低标准分数,占学生总数的42%,在第二轮中,30名学生达到最低标准分数,占学生总数的90%。综上所述,在教学和学习中使用播客可以提高学生的口语能力。
