The influence of technological parameters on the force parameters and the filling of a die cavity was investigated. The stress-strain state and temperature fields of the forged-piece, the optimal shape and dimensions of the initial workpiece providing minimal technological efforts, forging steps, optimal conditions for filling the die cavity and conditions for cooling the forged-piece were determined.
