The effectiveness of electronic mind maps in the visual thinking skills of fifth-grade literary students in history by checking the validity of the following null hypothesis
- There is no statistically significant difference at the level (0.05) between the average grades of the female students of the experimental group who studied on the control group who studied the usual method of choosing visual thinking. The research sample of 60 female students, (30) of the group, where the students of the experimental group studied the chapters (first, second, third) of the history book for the fifth grade of literature at two sessions per week using electronic mental maps and studied the students of the control group the same subject in the same place and duration but in a normal way. The researcher used the spss statistical program and excel to calculate t-test for two independent samples of pearson's correlation coefficient, The effectiveness of the wrong alternatives, and the A-Kroneach factor, showed the results: 1. The students of the pilot group who studied using the electronic mental mapping strategy outperformed the students of the control group who studied in the usual way. In these results, the researcher concluded the effectiveness of the strategy of electronic mental maps in the visual thinking skills of fifth-grade literary students, and recommended several recommendations, including the introduction of strategies that include images, drawings and charts in the teacher's manual, especially electronic mental maps . Key words : Electronic mind maps , Visual thinking skills
