Based on the dynamic equation of analytic system, Houbolt numerical integration method was adopted to analyze contact characteristics of the system. Aimed at system with simple catenary suspension under single pantograph effect, influence of contact wire tension, structure height and span length on contact force of pantograph-catenary under different running speeds was discussed.
