Ethik in der Medizin – blinder Passagier oder Steuermann?

Realizing multiple problems of theory-practice-transfer, medical ethics have to be grounded theoretically, methodically and empirically in the reality of medical workaday. In the modern technological based medical system the ethical dimension is in many ways strategically dissolved. Systematically delegated out of physician's personality, ethics are diffused into an anonymous system where a self-sufficient, technocratic and vitalistic ethos is predominant. An alternative concept of medicine can be empirically described: it is based upon a deliberate anthropological and existential concept of medicine and has fulminant consequences concerning the realization of medical ethics in medical workaday.
