Network Supporting Middleware for New Networks with Geographical Location Information
This paper introduces our network middleware for a new network where the address format includes geographical location information. The new address format compatible to IPv6 can quickly and easily provide location information of nodes of interest, and many new services/applications are possible without extra cost. A few representative functions of the middleware are defined and devised, and simulation results on a small scale prototype are also included.
