This model takes into account the actual form of variable settling velocity and eddy-diffusivity profile. Here the influence of settling velocity must be taken into account for the study of atmosphere dispersion. Therefore in the present analysis the two dimensional steady state dispersion of air pollutants over an area source under the settling effect has been investigated.
