摘要

本文提出了一种基于人脸感兴趣区域的图像压缩算法,以获得较高的压缩比,并保证压缩结果的质量。首先,采用FC2VQ (feature correction two-stage vector quantiization)算法检测包含人脸特征的ROI;然后计算ROI的掩模。最后利用该算法进行压缩。ROI和背景的压缩比可以根据需要随机调整。实验结果表明,该算法可以使感兴趣区域的压缩质量优于背景压缩质量,人眼可以很好地识别人脸特征区域
