Merdeka belajar is a new policy of the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture. This study aims to know the implementation of merdeka belajar in online learning methods at the School for Children of Indonesia (SCI). This research approach was descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study were the headmaster, teacher, and students at the School for Children of Indonesia in the academic year 2019/2020. Sample selection used a purposive sampling method. The technique of collecting data used observation, interview, and documentation. The data validity technique used triangulation techniques. Data analysis techniques used analysis of flow models through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of interviews and observations show that the learning methods are foster the child's potential development without pressure, make the students actively seek knowledge, transform experiences into knowledge, and involves them in projects related to everyday problems.
