Recent developments in internet has benefited the user to send any amount of data to any remote place in the world. The User is having the privileges of high data rate, remote connectivity and access but there is lack of data confidentiality. Hence Data security acts as a critical role in data communication. Two techniques that provide data security they are Cryptography and Steganography. This paper intends to give a secure steganography model using Random-Bit Select algorithm. The secret message is embedded into the carrier called as cover image based on randomly generated numbers and how many amount of bits to be replaced in each pixel can be governed through the user, so that user can define the stego image resolution based on the situation.
