To begin with, a model of BESS participating in frequency regulation of power systems is established for analyzing effects of BESS control dynamics on grid frequency characteristic. And the analysis model is proved by comparison with time domain model. Furthermore, grid frequency characteristic analysis with including BESS frequency regulation is studied. Virtual inertia control and virtual inertia frequency control of BESS are investigated for Participate in power grid frequency regulation.
