The design allows the adjustment of arbitrary amplitudes for the radiating elements using a rotatable aperture. No electric feeding network is needed as the radiators are excited using the fundamental waveguide mode and the amplitudes are adjusted in a solely mechanical way. The toolkit is designed after an existing antenna toolkit made from rectangular waveguide elements but presents benefits in manufacturing, usage and costs.
