Although the transmission capacity and processing power of network equipment have been enhanced recently, packetized schemes should also be optimized, considering that several hundred billion IoT devices will be connected to networks by 2020. This paper proposes packetized schemes for IoT devices that use ZigBee, which is a promising candidate for the implementation of IoT area networks. In the proposed schemes, data blocks from many sensors are aggregated and bundled into a packet.
