However in Indonesian school hours the chance to practice speaking is limited. One way to obtain more practices to speak outside of school hours is by joining English club extracurricular program. English club as an English extracurricular program in state Madrasah Aliyah Pembangunan Mandirancan gives chance to students to speak in more flexible condition with their peers. Thus, it is interesting to investigate the impact students perception on English club extracurricular toward students‟ speaking skill. The 26 students joined English club extracurricular as the sample. The techniques used obtaining the data were observation, questionnaire and speaking test. 摘要
口语是学生学习英语应掌握的技能之一。然而,在印尼的学校时间里,练习口语的机会是有限的。参加英语俱乐部的课外活动是获得更多课外口语练习的一种方法。英语俱乐部作为国家Madrasah Aliyah Pembangunan Mandirancan的英语课外项目,为学生提供了更灵活地与同龄人交流的机会。因此,调查学生对英语俱乐部课外活动的看法对学生口语能力的影响是很有意义的。以参加课外英语俱乐部的26名学生为样本。数据的获取方法有观察法、问卷法和口语测试法。建议学生参加课外英语俱乐部,因为它可以提高学生的口语能力。
